Russell Wilson, by definition, is still a rookie.
He just doesn’t play like one.
Wilson led a 97-yard go-ahead touchdown drive in regulation, then kept the Bears from getting the ball in overtime for a 23-17 win on the road.
Wilson’s 12-play, 80-yard drive was a beauty, capped by a 13-yard touchdown to Sidney Rice. Rice crossed the plane before losing the ball, and the play stood up on review.
Wilson finished with 293 yards passing with two scores, and added another 71 yards rushing.
The Bears (8-4) gave away chances at points, and are having a hard time doing anything other than throw to Brandon Marshall. As maligned as their offensive line has been (and justifiably so), their lack of a complement to Marshall had Jay Cutler looking frustrated (though he often looks that way).
