According to Jeff Darlington, via NFL Network, it has been determined by Dr. James Andrews, that Robert Griffin III will require surgery to repair his torn Lateral Collateral Ligament. Dr. James Andrews will perform the surgery. The concern is that when he goes in for surgery, that they will discover a greater extent of injury to RG3's ACL. Only time will tell.
Now it will be interesting to see what happens to Mike Shanahan in the wake of his carelessness, which ultimately led to RG3's further injury.
