Back when the Seahawks signed Terrell Owens and Braylon Edwards in the pre-season, many could have known that Owens wouldn't have made the cut. Edwards, however, did; however, his performance this season has been lackluster at best.
During ten games, Braylon Edwards racked up an amazing 74 yards and one touchdown. Woah!
With stats such as that, it's easy to understand why Edwards was cut. But you can't exactly blame Edwards' performance on poor play on his part. Not only do the Seahawks have a rookie quarterback, but Edwards has found himself forth in the line of wide-receivers, Golden Tate most notably.
At almost thirty years old, it may not be too much to assume we never see him take the field for another snap again, at least not in the NFL.
